What is NAPLAN Maths?
NAPLAN numeracy checks how well students can apply maths ideas such as number, algebra, measurement, geometry, data and reasoning in practical questions.
Which year levels do you cover?
Topic quizzes run from Prep through Year 10. Timed NAPLAN-style papers cover Years 3, 4, 5, 7 and 9, with Year 4 included as curriculum-aligned revision.
How is the platform delivered?
Everything is self-paced online: parents create an account, add their child, and work through topic quizzes, timed NAPLAN-style papers and Selective Entry drills at their own pace.
What do the bundles include?
We offer monthly and yearly plans with the first 7 days free. NAPLAN + Quizzes is $8.50 / month or $79 / year; Selective Entry + Quizzes is $7.90 / month or $79 / year; the combined bundle is $13.99 / month or $149 / year after the trial. All plans give access to the relevant mock papers, the quiz library and progress tracking.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — eligible parent accounts can start a 7-day free trial after adding a card securely through Stripe. There is one trial per parent account, and no mobile number is required. You are not charged when the trial starts. The selected plan begins automatically on the disclosed date unless you cancel first. Free study notes, four questions per topic and one NAPLAN-style paper per relevant year remain available without a subscription.
How do parents track progress?
Parents can log in to the portal to see quiz scores, paper results, progress reports and downloadable cheatsheets for their child.
Selective Entry Victorian Selective Entry Exam
How hard is the Victorian Selective exam, really?
The examination combines reasoning with time limits. Use ACER’s sample questions to become familiar with the format, then practise accuracy and pacing. Academy practice scores do not predict selection.
Does it cover anything beyond Year 8?
No. The official guidance is that required knowledge does not exceed Year 8 curriculum. The challenge includes how familiar content is applied to unfamiliar, worded and abstract situations.
Which schools use this exam?
The central process is for Year 9 entry to Melbourne High School, The Mac.Robertson Girls’ High School, Nossal High School and Suzanne Cory High School. Eligible students apply while in Year 8. Applications for later entry are handled by the schools.
When should we start preparing?
Choose practice around your child’s current learning needs. Our 12-week plan is an optional Academy suggestion, not a requirement or a guarantee. ACER provides free sample questions for format familiarisation.
