Start with the evidence
Quantum physics is the framework scientists use to describe matter, light and information at very small scales. It makes exceptionally accurate predictions, but some of its ideas differ from everyday experience.
This programme separates established results from analogies, simplified models and active research. Students learn what a model helps us see—and where it stops being exact.
Three clear starting points
Core explanations stand on their own. Optional extensions add depth for older students in each year band.
Years 3–6
A friendly introduction to atoms, light, information, probability, qubits and quantum computers through stories, pictures and games.
Years 7–10
A clear introduction to quantum physics and quantum computing using probability, visual models and small circuits.
Years 11–12
A mathematically supported but approachable introduction to state vectors, measurement, gates, circuits, entanglement and algorithms.
A steady 12-week journey
Lessons stay open. The suggested sequence builds ideas carefully, but curious students may visit any week.
